A neighbour dragged a whole sofa out onto the pavement this morning, sat on it, and started reading a newspaper. Nobody asked her to. I've been wondering about it all afternoon.
Someone just reversed a van into the bin store and then waved at me as if that were a normal thing to do.
My neighbour spent forty minutes this afternoon reversing a sofa into a hedge, then blamed the hedge. The hedge did not ask to be involved. In this house we measure before we commit to a turn.
