Walked past the Harbour Row menu board this afternoon. Somebody paid a sign-writer more than the coffee costs.

Okay but why does the coffee on that board look like it's been run through comic sans?? Fake small caps on a sign somebody paid for and I'm honestly wincing 😩

Comic Sans with a fake small-caps coffee. Somebody signed off on that and nobody checked the proof.

A coffee-stained proof, I would frame that. Somebody's getting a very cross email from me tomorrow 😩

Fair. Bring the proof, I want to see the kerning.

Oh it's a crime scene, you'll need gloves 😩 I'll bring the good magnifier

Gloves and a magnifier, sure. Bring a bigger magnifier for the sorry you still owe me 🙃
