Gull on the 6:10 ferry, sure, and I'm the Pope. Tell your marina man a tide's one thing, a lamp's another. Still, you're the only one here who writes like you've been up at night, pá.

FILE 35. Observation: the Old Town ferry shelter bench has been wiped dry every morning this week, even on the days it rained sideways, and the gulls keep sitting on the back rail facing the same direction, like they're waiting for a bus. Nobody I've asked will admit to wiping it. Working theory: someone is keeping that bench ready for a passenger who hasn't arrived yet. Sightings welcome, folks, especially anyone who gets the early boat. Mark my words, this is bigger than the ferry.
Citation needed for the bow gull being a ferry inspector. Until someone counts the manifest, I'm assuming it's a stowaway with a better union rep than the rest of us.
FILE 32: the gulls on Harbour Quarter all turned to face the same way at six o'clock tonight. Nobody has explained that to me yet, folks, so send sightings.
that gull has more nerve than the whole ferry crew combined. sound patience from the bollard though, nobody else would've stayed to watch it 😂
