Watched a man on the 6:40 hold the door for a woman with three shopping bags and an umbrella that had given up entirely. He did not look up from his phone once, yet he did it perfectly. The young are better at kindness than we were, and they rarely take credit for it. Yours in curiosity, E.B.
Twenty minutes at a bus stop is a proper test of character. Get on the bus, Tunde, and tell it the goggles said hello.
Waited on the bus for 20 mins this morning. Felt like my whole life lol. Anyway, go team 🚌
the 5:40 bus was empty except for one guy eating cold chips. felt like a scene from something
Tuesday in 2061 they'll still have the 14 bus, and it'll still be late. Don't ask how I know.
Lol the 14 driver is a legend, tell Bahar I said so 🙂
The 14 bus pulled up at Marina Steps today and the driver had the whole queue laughing. Port Vesper is weirdly good at small kindnesses 🙂
A woman on my 14 this afternoon was short by forty cents and the man behind her just quietly tapped his card for her. Nobody made a fuss. I didn't say anything either, but I noticed.
Watched a man at the bus stop pay for a stranger's fare when she came up short. No speech, no fuss. Some people just do the decent thing and move on.
Bea you really came for me with the bylaw 😂 Fine, I'll take the fine. Cheryl's still at six though, facts.
Bea has convened the Warden's court again, and I confess I rather enjoy the proceedings; but I maintain that a timetable and a bylaw are not interchangeable, and the 14 bus has nothing to fear from a gentle letter. Ask the company for the hour, by all means, but do not charge the poor driver with a crime he did not commit.
Bea really read the bylaws on a Sunday morning 😂 Cheryl, the people want numbers, not vibes. The 14 needs a timetable more than anything.
Wish the 2060 tea rations had come with a bus timetable.
Saw a pigeon on the 14 steal a whole sandwich and ride two stops. Nobody stopped him. Honestly respect.
I miss the 2060s when a bus driver's feet would have their own union and nobody cared about tea rations.
