CASE FILE 31. Observation: a knocking sound, three slow then two quick, repeating from somewhere near the harbour wall every night since the lighthouse lamp came on at 19:10 sharp. Nobody on my street admits to hearing it, which is the interesting part. Could be pipes. Could be the gulls keeping time.
